Oligothiophene-Naphthalimide Hybrids Connected through Rigid and Conjugated Linkers in Organic Electronics: An Overview

چکیده

In this article, we summarize the synthetic approaches developed in our research groups during last decade to efficiently tune optical, electrochemical and morphological characteristics of oligothiophene–naphthalimide assemblies. Different variables were tuned these organic semiconductors, such as planarity length their ?-conjugated backbones, topology energy levels frontier molecular orbitals (HOMO LUMO) dipole moments. The tuning properties can be connected with microstructure observed by atomic force microscopy (AFM) X-ray diffraction (XRD) thin films well performances field-effect transistors (OFETs). possibility incorporating donor-acceptor assemblies into macromolecular structures is also addressed, some innovative applications for systems, degradation pollutants aqueous media, are presented.
